SPV Roofer Muhammad
Mo has gained extensive insight into all areas of the roofing industry during his time with Walsall-based SPV Group. The company, which is a contractor working in the refurbishment and maintenance of buildings in the commercial and industrial sectors, employed Mo in 2019. Mo is now specialising in sheeting and cladding, which is the discipline he is working in towards completing a Roofing Trailblazer.
Kate Whatley, SPV Group director, said: “Mo has shown true determination and commitment since he started his roofing journey with our Building Futures programme in 2019. He has an excellent attitude, work ethic and is willing to learn and develop.
“It has been a pleasure to be part of his journey and support him throughout his roofing career so far. Huge credit to Juniper Training who have done an amazing job of supporting Mo and developing his skills. Juniper always going over and above with all their students, in particular his mentor, Paul Austin and Kulli Khossa, who oversees delivery of the provision.”
SPV apprentice Kyle Moseley-Wlodarz was also acknowledged as one of the three shortlisted candidates, narrowly missing out on the winner accolade.
Kate added, “SPV is super proud of both apprentices and the accolades are very well deserved for both of these hard working and conscientious students.”
