Bracknell Roofing has appointed Michael Killingbeck as an Assistant Management Accountant.
The appointment takes the Management Accountancy team to a total of five within the Finance department of the Burton upon Trent-based company. The 27-year-old’s responsibilities include payments to contractors, month end accounts, and managing balance sheets and profit & loss statements for the company.
Michael, a former submariner, made the move from an accountancy practice to join Bracknell Roofing because “he wanted to work client-side in a role with greater variation.”
He said the move to Bracknell Roofing is challenging and he is enjoying getting his teeth into the role.
“I grabbed the opportunity to work for such a thriving business with both hands because it’s a role that will really stretch and challenge me,” said Michael.
“I’ve had to hit the ground running because of the pace at which everyone at Bracknell Roofing works – but it’s an exciting place to be and I’m looking to develop my skills, experience and knowledge so that I can continue to be an asset to the company.”
Bracknell Roofing’s Divisional Director Simon Smith commented: “We are experiencing solid and sustained growth and we had a requirement to bolster our Management Accountancy team. We are delighted that Michael has joined us
“He already brings great experience with him, and we have high hopes that he will continue playing a key part supporting the running of our business.”
