The charity also provides support to women and children living in West Cornwall through their Community Services Project, which includes a helpline, one to one outreach support, group support, yoga, craft groups, children’s one to one support and counselling.
Lizzie Matthews, representing West Cornwall Women’s Aid, said, “It’s vital the women and children we support are made to feel safe and valued, and arriving to a welcoming and aesthetically pleasing space really helps with this. We will be using the Community Fund donation to decorate bedrooms and communal areas and we’re extremely grateful to RGB; the money will make such a difference. A huge thank you to everyone who showed their support by voting for us.”
