EPD INSULATION GROUP is continuing to invest in its future growth with the recruitment of Neil Farrow as marketing director.
Steve Boon, EPD Insulation Group MD said of the appointment: “As one of the leading distributers of insulation and building materials to Builders Merchants and the screeding, drylining and general construction industry, we are constantly looking for improvement and our senior management needed hands-on marketing skills to help with future growth plans. Having worked with Neil 30 years ago, I knew he would be a great fit.”
Tony Brown, EPD Commercial Director added: “Standing still isn’t an option and we have exciting plans for growth to support our increasing client base. Marketing has been on our radar for a few years and now is the perfect time to change up a gear and drive those plans forward.”
Neil Farrow joins EPD Insulation Group with an extremely wide marketing knowledge base. Having worked in industries such as Audio Tech, Food & Drink, Energy and Packaging, Neil Farrow has covered everything from TV product placement to setting up an industry awards night in three months.
On the appointment, Farrow commented: “It would have been churlish to pass up the opportunity of working with Steve again after all this time. He is such a positive and driven business leader. Apart from my Royal Navy engineering background, my marketing know-how covers strategy, creative, communications, journalism, video and events.
“Having the experience of sitting down with Steve Jobs at Apple HQ in California on one hand, and loading a van and driving to Russia to set up an exhibition on the other, means my broad marketing knowledge will pay dividends at EPD and assist them with their projected expansion.”
