EROOFING, one of the leading online roofing material stores, has made an essential promotion within their rapidly growing eCommerce team.
John-Luigi Bianco, a core part of the initial Eroofing team, has been promoted to Operations Manager. John has been with the company since its earliest phase, performing a range of functions as the company became established and grew.
As operations manager he will be working with Eroofing’s systems and logistics to ensure their smooth operation. He will be also playing a role in expanding the firm’s ecommerce channels.
Talking about the role, John-Luigi Bianco said: “I’m looking forward to taking on this new role which will help the company and me personally grow further.
“It has been a great journey so far, and I look to keep that going with the rest of the team at Eroofing.”
Of course, in the current conditions, John’s new role will be far from straightforward negotiating as he must the current supply chain disruptions and material availability challenges.
John said, “There is an extra challenge with the shortages. We’re doing our best to make sure we hold the stock we sell and let our customers know of any changes for direct orders. Being upfront with customers has been key to our growth and customer satisfaction.”
Eroofing has seen exceptional growth since it was established in 2019. That growth success is down to the constantly growing range of products by the company, from roof vents, lead flashing, to breather membranes and more.
John explains, “We have observed a shift in the roofing world towards online shopping for products and material, but currently this is typically for a specific range of products rather than full scale projects.”
Customer Service is Key
Exceptional customer service is also seen as key to its success by the company. Eroofing prides itself on delivering products the next day (free of charge for orders over £10, apart from lead and Velux orders).
John adds, “Each day, we have a tight deadline to make sure each parcel is packed ready-to-go, to be collected by the couriers. We deal with various couriers to ensure we have great coverage across the UK and this also enables us to send pallets and smaller products such as sealants for next day delivery.
“We also have a system that helps ensure that every parcel is sent out for the next day delivery. Our system has many rules that are constantly growing to prevent logistical mistakes, and this is where my job comes in.”
It’s not just the systems that John maintains and grows as the company expands, but also the talent of the team the company has assembled. John ends, “Keeping the customers happy and working with a brilliant team that makes me feel that I’m part of something bigger is certainly the best part of my job.”
