Our client is one of the UK’s fastest-growing Building Envelope Contractors, specialising in Commercial Flat Roofing, Cladding and Facades projects.

Established 15 years ago, they have nationwide coverage within the refurb sector and have an abundance of new business in the pipeline.  This past year they have seen massive growth having tripled in size from £6m to £18m.

They have a very collaborative and forward-thinking culture, and are searching for an individual who is an ambitious team player to make the role their own and contribute to the company’s continuous growth and success.

The ideal person for this role should be keen to progress and determined to learn new skills as you take on more responsibility and workload within the Commercial Department of the business.

Ideal Candidate:

    • Experience and understanding of fundamental QS duties; payments/cost control/evaluations etc
    • Technical experience and understanding of building envelope systems and materials preferred (Cladding/Facades/Roofing)
    • A willingness to take on responsibility and take control of your work/processes
    • A team player who contributes to strategic discussion and offers support when needed
    • Strong work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit, always looking to improve ways of working and keen to contribute new ideas
    • Aptitude in decision-making with the ability to work well under pressure within a strict deadline environment
    • A high level of numerical and IT skills, including knowledge of relevant building methods and project management software
    • Excellent communication skills for liaising with a wide range of clients, professionals, and workers on site, with the ability to establish and maintain strong lasting relationships
    • Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to forward plan and manage your own schedule efficiently
