A SOUTH WALES roofing and cladding company has won a contract to carry out reactive as well as planned maintenance work for the Police and Crime Commissioner for South Wales.
The contract to carry out roofing maintenance was valued at £217,000 over 2 years, with an option to extend each year for an extra 2 years.
Three bids were received, with the contract finally awarded to Valleys Roofing & Cladding of Abertillery.
Previous contracts for the provision of roofing-related services, of which there are three listed through tendering website Sell2Wales, had been awarded to Tonypandy Industrial Roofing & Cladding Specialists.
The Police and Crime Commissioner for South Wales’s office is located in Bridgend, with the Police Service having sites across the region.
