Site Operating Procedures Updated to Version 6

A NEW VERSION of the Site Operating Procedures has been issued following recent changes to Government guidance.

There are no significant changes to social distancing requirements on sites. However, the Construction Leadership Council (CLC) has streamlined the Site Operating Procedures – Version 6 to include:

  • Updated guidance on shielding, self-isolation, testing and what to do if a worker develops COVID-19 symptoms or has to self-isolate
  • Confirmation that canteens serving food must display an NHS QR Code
  • Current requirements on social distancing
  • The CLC statement on The Use of Face Coverings
  • Wording reviewed and references to more detailed guidance or updated terminology.

Cases of coronavirus are currently increasing across all four nations. The CLC is urging sites to remind the workforce of the importance of social distancing outside of work, to protect themselves and others and help keep construction sites open.
